DECK THE HALL WITH BOUGHS OF HOLLY Our evergreen celebration of Christmas in words and music, in association with female acapella choirs ‘Cats Chorus & later ‘Five In A Bar’, was an annual fixture from 2000 – 2016, much loved locally and a highlight of the city’s seasonal entertainment. The show played regularly to capacity houses of 120 over three nights each December in the splendid setting of the castle’s neo-gothic Shire Hall, suitably decked with holly!
