Literary & Musical Event - Descant On Rawthey's Madrigal An adaptation of Briggflatts, the epic biographical poem by Basil Bunting (1900-85), delivered by Stephen Tomlin and the recorded voice of the late writer, in an arrangement set to music by Andi Chapple (andi@music.freakout.biz) Premiered on site at Brigflatts Friends Meeting House as part of the Sedbergh Book Festival. Bunting is buried here next to the oldest and most beautifully situated of Friends Meeting Houses. |

Model Collaboration - Artist & Actors on Location Three of our company modelled for portrait painter Peter Layzell in the splendid setting of Lancaster's Storey Gallery, just before it closed for an extensive refurbishment. (For information on the Storey Gallery www.storeygallery.org.uk) Working closely with the artist our performers were actively involved in creating the unspoken scenarios that can be viewed as finished paintings at the artist’s London gallery. He is currently artist in residence at the Atkinson Gallery, Southport.
